As many of our regular users noticed the 210 web site became infested with viruses.  The purveyors of these harmful attacks embedded their viruses in hundreds of files across the site.  Working with the web site vendor we determined that the Forums were the point of entry for these deviates.
We deliberated on how to continue the thoughtful and spirited debates that were such an important part of the site, and at the same time protect the site from attack.

We’ve settled on a layout that offers users an opportunity to post to the site through moderators.  The moderators are members of the 210 board, which is an elected body.  The goal is to stop viruses, not thoughtful commentary and interaction.

We’ll use this new Blog capability to publish a continuous stream of 210 thought, ideas, concerns, corrections… all the good stuff from the Forums.  Thank you for your patience, have a wonderful summer of sailing.
